The San Ysidro School District will hold three community meetings to provide an update of the current status   of the 2015-2018 Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) and to obtain feedback from the community for the 2016-2019 LCAP.  The LCAP is a three-year, district plan that is updated annually.  It must address the state of California’s eight priority areas which are divided into “The Three Buckets.”

  1. Conditions of Learning – Basic services, implementation of Common Core, and course access
  2. Pupil Outcomes – Pupil achievement and other pupil outcomes
  3. Engagement – Parent involvement, pupil engagement, and school climate

It is required to identify goals and measure progress for all students including student subgroups (i.e. English Learners, Foster Youth, and Low-Income students) across multiple performance indicators.

Please join us at one or more of the following community meetings. This is your opportunity to have your voices heard and to partner with us as we revise the LCAP for next year.

Tuesday, February 16, 2016 @ Ocean View Hills from 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Tuesday, March 15, 2016 @ San Ysidro Middle School from 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Tuesday, April 12, 2016 @ Willow from 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Don’t forget to find out how the LCAP specifically affects your school!  Contact your school today to learn how you can get involved!
